Dr Sivasanker consults at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, St John's Wood, and at Centennial Medical Care, Elstree
The fee is £350 for an initial one-hour appointment and £220 for a 30-minute follow-up appointment. Payment can be made via BACS or by cash at the appointment.
Dr Sivasanker will aim to see you within two weeks, but this will often be sooner.
The initial consultation will be one hour long.
At the first appointment, Dr Sivasanker will take a detailed history, asking questions to gather background information which will help to arrive at a diagnosis. Some investigations (e.g. blood tests) may also be recommended. Finally, an initial management plan will be discussed at the end of the appointment
Although a GP referral letter can be helpful, it is not essential and you are welcome to self-refer.

If the appointment is cancelled more than 48 hours in advance, there is no charge. Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment incur a charge of 50% of the appointment fee.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a charge of the full appointment fee.

Of course - please bring anyone to your appointment who will be able to support you during the consultation. Dr Sivasanker may wish to see you on your own for part of the consultation.
